SQLPro for SQLite (Lite) App Reviews

Bought an unlock, wiped out by upgrade

I downloaded the read-only version and found it met my (minimal) needs well enough, so I bought an unlock via the app store. Two updates later, it’s back to being locked to read-only even though the store still shows the unlock I purchased. It offers to let me pay another $20 for another unlock. Needless to say I feel ripped off.

Far Superior to SQLite Database Browser

I’ve been using SQLite Database Browser when developing Rails applications. Stumbled across SQlite Pro by accident after being frustrtated that SQlite Database Browser was unable to sort my db tables in any manner. It’s not a neccessary feature but it certainly helps when you’re flooding your dabtabases with thousands of fake entries and you want to make sure your complex ranking algorithm is working in your app. You can just check your database, sort the rank column from high to low to make sure the items with the highest rank are displaying in your Views. SQlite Pro is also superior in many other ways. Better organization and just looks better.

great app for database

i really like to use the sqlite for my apps … it is easy to use and simple not like the others thanks for your great app

The only thing missing before developing for Mac

This app is abolutely gorgeous and works flawlessly. I’m buying the paid version right away. Hope I was taught databases with this tool when I got started.

Awesome Tool

This is an excellent tool as a SQLite GUI tool. I just downloaded the full version. It is so worth it. Try it.

Update makes it crash

At least for me, after the most recent update it now crashes when opening files. :-/ please fix.

doesnt open db extension file

i thought this app would help open files with .db extension? Doesnt work.

Simple, stable, useful

I use this app regularly for simple purposes (and SQLite is a simple DB). It has had every feature I’ve hoped for, it’s quick, very reliable, and has a nice, responsive, to-the-point interface. Perfect.

Chokes on large Databases

If you have any sort of medium to large database be prepared for a lot of beach balling load times. Does its job once loaded but is too slow for me. limiting results would help. the 1-2 minute load times just to open the file and see the tables are way long to wait.

Excellent App

I use this app everyday and it is very good. Possible suggestion: The UI can be improved and search feature can be implemented

Bad product

SQLite Professional was great when i had it free and read-only. The moment i purchased it to work with SQLite databases I have trouble where data just disappears. I’ve lost hours of work due to this. Until they fix this issue im giving them 1 star.

Getting better

My main problems with the app were speed, it is getting better. It will actually bring up the main window quickly. But as soon as I see the table names it just constantly beach balls for me, as soon as I try and scroll in any part of the app it beach balls. I typically deal with a database of about 20 tables and roughly 10000 rows in the tables. Its not small but not huge. It is unusable for me because of the constant beachballs. Love the new design and refresh but still left waiting to long.

Best Free Sqllite browser

Very useful application. im using it for sqlite db and 3dbs extension and it works perfectly. the only downside is start up banner …but im getting use to it. i think this is the only free application that gives full functionality with no trial or limitation. best regard to developer team.

Saves so much time!

Great way to look at your data. The UI is simple and intuitive

Very useful for development

I use it for verifying CoreData database content. Very helpfiul and easy to use.
